Zhikai was set up in 2011. Its predecessor, Suzhou Longting Electromechanical, was founded in 2005 andworked on wire-cut control software and control circuits. That is why control and pulse power are still our core work, not bought-in parts.
Our R&D team includes two PhDs alongside graduate and undergraduate engineers. Between us we tackled the three problems that used to define wire EDM: poor surface roughness, slow cutting and heavy wire wear.
Today we build middle-speed wire EDM, slow wire EDM, fast wire cut, die sinking EDM, EDM drilling and diamond wire cutting machines — and we take on custom machine projects.
